What (and Who!) makes me, me!!

I want to use this blog to let people have a look into my life. So, I decided that to do this I should make a posts completely about the people and things that make me who I am today. (These are NOT in any specific order!)

The People in my life who mean everything to me!
My Daddy: Everything I know about being tough, about knowing how to stand up for myself, and having a sense of humor, I learned from my Daddy. He taught me don't start a fight, but you better finish one, don't quit anything because quitting gets easier the next time, laugh when people fall down (okay, so this isn't a life lesson, but this is the best example for how my dad taught me to have a sense of humor.), don't cry on the court or on the field, and never do anything without giving it your all. He "coached" me through life and I will always cherish him for that!!

My Momma: Growing up I changed what I wanted my job to be about as many times as every other child does. But, there was one thing I knew I always wanted to do, and that was be a stay at home mom like mine was. My mom has done more for me than I could ever imagine. She pushed me to make good grades throughout school, encouraged me to go to college and get a degree, and she gave me countless amounts of love. I will always remember all of the crafts we used to do together, all of the sacrifices she made for me, and the way she was and always will be there for me whenever I need her to be.
Mojo: Constant fighting, and I'm not talking like arguing, I'm talking knock down drag out fights. Punching, spitting, and just about everything else you could possibly think of. THAT is what my brother and I did when we spent time together growing up. But, rewind a few years, and he was my little child. I taught him, kissed him on his cheek in like EVERY single picture we took, got on to him, and read to him. Then came the fighting and while I loved my brother, he got on all of my ever loving nerves. Okay, fast forward to current time and my brother is by far one of the most important people in my life. And, while he can drive me absolutely crazy with his freaking loud speakers, I wouldn't trade him for anything.
Codey Lyle Foster: The absolute LOVE of my life. We have been in a relationship for almost 5 years (March 15 is our anniversary). My first real boyfriend, my high school sweet heart, my everything! We have survived so many fights, so many arguments and they have only made us stronger. I could not picture my life without him in it, and I hope I NEVER have to! He is my other half, I can talk to him about anything. I am perfectly content just hanging out in sweats watching a movie with him. I love his family like they are my own, and I can only hope they feel the same way about me.
Tiffy: Best friends are hard to come by, and I'm not talking about the "BFF" friendships, the fight and make up, best friends for five minutes kind of best friend. I am talking about the one person that you can turn to no matter what happens. The person that you would do anything in the world for. You will listen to their problems, and they will listen to yours. It took me 16 years to find a friend like Tiffany, but I am so glad she finally came into my life.
Emily and Jacob: (Sorry Emmaboo, I couldn't find ANY pictures of us together. This has GOT to change.) Emily and I got really close Junior year. We made plans for her to live with us at UA in our dorm room. But, all of that changed in July when Emily found out she was pregnant. Nine months later, Jacob was born and my friendship with Emily only got stronger. I am there for her whenever she needs me and she knows that. I would do absolutely anything for Jacob, after all he is my God son! :)) The only thing I would ever change about them is where they live. It is so hard being so far apart!

Ragen, Corey, and Baby Lane: About the same time I started dating Codey, Ragen and Corey started dating as well. We didn't hang out a lot in the beginning, but now I consider them some of my best friends. I love hanging out with them. On October 13, we were blessed with the most amazing miracle, Aiden Lane. Codey and I were so excited to meet our nephew (yes, I know he is not officially yet, but I still consider him my nephew!). We spoiled him rotten with so many gifts before he was born, and have continued to do it in the two months that he has been alive! Lane grows so much every day and I am so glad Ragen and Corey are letting me be a part of his life.
Okay, now that I've told you about the people that keep me going, I'll talk about all the things in life I couldn't live without!!

Contacts: Okay, for those people with perfect 20/20 vision, I HATE YOU. Haha, no I'm kidding. But, I have terrible vision, like absolutely terrible vision. My eye doctor told me that if I lived back in the 60's before they had strong prescriptions, I would have been sent to a school for the blind.

Desperate Housewives: My all time favorite show. If I miss an episode, I get very, VERY mad until I can catch it online or see a rerun.

iPhone: My phone is my lifeline. Literally. I use it for everything, talking, texting, listening to music, surfing the internet, stalking my facebook friends and on and on and on. I am addicted to it!

My laptop: I could not get through college without my laptop. I have no idea how college worked without them, I don't to even imagine it!! Plus, I love just playing around on it, and now it is very handy for blogging! :)
My car: As much as I HATE my car, it is something that I could not live without. It takes me everywhere I need to go. And while it may be ugly, it has four wheels and moves, so I've learned to just be happy with it!

Sunflowers: I just love to look at them, they make me so happy! Imagine how sad life would be without gorgeous flowers!

Sam's Choice Water: I don't drink anything but water. Like no sodas, no juice. None of that, and I like Sam's choice the best, because well, It has my name on it and tastes yummy!

My Faith: There is nothing greater in my life than my faith. And, there is nothing more that needs to be said about that. :)
