Days Six, Seven and Eight :)

Day 6 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.

This is the kind of fish I'm getting for my apartment next year! :)
I want a German Shepherd like this one day!
But, If I could have any animal, I would want an elephant :))

Day 7 – Your dream wedding.

I know exactly what I want my wedding to be like. I have dreamed about it since I was a little girl. But, I don't want to give all my ideas away because I don't want people stealing them, and I don't want to ruin all my surprises! :))
But, it will involve some of these :))

Day 8 – A song to match your mood.

Something Beautiful - Needtobreath :)

In your ocean, I'm ankle deep
I feel the waves crashin' on my feet
It's like I know where I need to be
But I can't figure out, yeah I can't figure out

Just how much air I will need to breathe
When your tide rushes over me
There's only one way to figure out
Will you let me drown, will you let me drown?

Hey now, this is my desire
Consume me like a fire, 'cause I just want something beautiful
To touch me, I know that I'm in reach
'Cause I am down on my knees.
I'm waiting for something beautiful
Oh, something beautiful

And the water is rising quick
And for years I was scared of it
We can't be sure when it will subside
So I won't leave your side, no I can't leave your side.

Hey now, this is my desire
Consume me like a fire, 'cause I just want something beautiful
To touch me, I know that I'm in reach
'Cause I am down on my knees.
I'm waiting for something beautiful
Oh, something beautiful

In a daydream, I couldn't live like this.
I wouldn't stop until I found something beautiful.
When I wake up, I know I will have
No, I still won't have what I need.
Something Beautiful

Hey now this is my desire
Consume me like a fire, 'cause I just want something beautiful
To touch me, I know that I'm in reach
Cause I am down on my knees
I'm waiting for something beautiful
Oh, something beautiful

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph and why it is.

This is probably my favorite picture of all time. Codey and I were taking pictures for the football program, and this turned out to be my favorite picture of us two. I think it just captures our love for each other! :)

Day Three!

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect date.

 My Perfect Date would...
Start with getting some of these! :)
Include a romantic picnic :))
And end with a view like this, followed by laying under the stars and talking :)
Oh, and I guess this guy will be involved too! :))

Day One! :)

Day 1 – A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.

This is one of my senior pictures, it's kinda old but I love it because my hair was so long! :)
My day was great today! I woke up and ate some yummy Cocoa pebbles. After that I went and picked up Emily and Jacob, I was very nervous to drive Jacob around because I have never driven with a baby in my car! We went shopping to get stuff for Jacob's first birthday party and we got some really cute stuff! I still have a few more things to do before the party, but the party isn't till March so I have plenty of time! After we got back, we went and ate Lunch at Zapopan, it was yummy! Then we went to go pick up Codey and we went back to my house. I ate dinner at home and spent some time with my family and Codey before heading back to school. After about an hour and 15 minute drive, I got to school and now I am being lazy watching Finding Nemo with my wonderful friend Tiffany! :))

First week of my Second semester! :)

I was not looking forward to my classes this semester. I have a full load this semester and with Biology and Math this semester I hoped I wouldn't feel too overwhelmed. My classes turned out to be really fun and I actually like most of my professors.

  • Math 112: My math class shouldn't be too hard, last semester I had to teach everything to myself. We only met once a week and my teacher never taught us anything. I figured my new math class would be the same, but I found out we get to meet in classrooms and actually have lessons. Unfortunately, my professor is Indian, and before you assume anything, I have no grudges against Indians, except for I can't understand a dad-gum thing they are saying. He went through an entire lesson Thursday and I just stared at him with my mouth wide open, nothing that he said made any sense to me. So, it looks like I will be teaching myself again this semester. :(
  • Women's Studies: Okay, I think this class is going to be so much fun! The topics all seem really interesting. My first class we watched a movie because my professor had a meeting, when she actually came and talked to us, she told us she has spent the last few years on the Haiti/Dominican Republic border. I thought she was really cool, and I can't wait to see what we are doing this semester.
  • American History: Growing up with a history teacher made me really interested in the past. I sat down and our professor started with this "So, I know most of you already hate this class because of your high school history teacher whose named probably started with Coach. All he did was read to you out of a book and bore you to tears." I laughed a little and thought, man if you only knew haha! The class is probably going to be interesting to me, but he talks really fast and doesn't put his notes on a slide show. So I have to write super fast, but I will keep up.
  • Biology: I figured my biology class was going to be really hard, but my professor understands that no one in the class is going to be a bio major, the class is specifically for non-majors. My teacher was really funny and told us that she doesn't expect us to know all the ins and outs of Biology, we are just going to relate biology to our lives today.
  • English: My English teacher is crazy!! He is a little short guy with long curly hair, he is just a huge ball of energy. My class is mostly focused on Southern Culture, but our first class he went over argumentation. We had to write a proposal, pass it back one person and that person had to argue our proposal. I wrote"I want to be convinced that UA is better than AU." I figured I would get something like that, but no, the girl in front of me hands her back and I read "I want to be convinced that BMW's are better cars than Mercedes are." I just looked at her like, you have to be kidding me. She said "Oh, you don't drive a BMW, do you?" I was like no haha, she said "Oh good, well I think they are crappy cars." I was like yeah, okay, whatever. So I had to argue that and then read it aloud to the class. I'm sure I looked like an idiot, but I don't care!!
So, there is my rundown of my classes this semester. I have a biology lab and a History discussion that I haven't been to yet. I am really hoping that this semester is fun! :)  But, the worst part about all of the classes? The ridiculous amount of money I had to pay on all my textbooks. I mean it was RIDICULOUS!

Heading back to Ttown! :)

Tomorrow, I will head back to Ttown! I am really excited about starting my last semester as a Freshman! I am ready to be done with all of my core classes, I really want to start working on all of my education classes. I have mixed feelings about my schedule this semester. I have no classes on Mondays, FIVE on Tuesdays, one on Wednesdays, four on Thursday, and a lab on Fridays. So, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will be amazing, but come Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will be kicking myself for picking the classes I did. (Another disadvantage of a Freshman in college, you get stuck with the absolute worst classes and class times.) Hopefully I wont let myself get too overwhelmed with it, but I think I will be just fine! I will just have to keep my focus.

I can't wait to see all of my roommates (and extended roommates) because we haven't seen each other in over a month! I am just not looking forward to my dorm! I wish I was moving into my gorgeous apartment I will have next year. I don't know how much longer I can't stand white concrete walls and white tiled floors, with no control over my heat/air except for how high the fan blows, and no oven to cook my own food (which means nasty cafeteria food!) I am sad to be leaving my family and boyfriend, but I will be back to visit often so it will be okay! Roll Tide! :)

twenty-eleven! :)

This year I plan on doing a lot of different things.I'm not going to call this list my "resolutions" because, let's be honest no one keeps up with their resolutions. I consider these my goals for the year!
  1. Stop getting so stressed out! I let myself get way to stressed sometimes, so I need to get a handle on that!
  2. Push myself to make good grades again this year.
  3. Hang out with my friends more.
  4. Eat healthier and get back in the gym everyday!
  5. Watch my mood swings, and get them under control!
None of these will be too difficult for me to accomplish! :) This year there are a lot of big things happening in my life! Codey and I will be dating for five years in March, we will both turn nineteen this year, Jacob will turn one in March (and I'm helping throw his party!!!), I will finish my Freshman year of college and start my sophomore year, Codey will hopefully be starting school in the Fall, I move into my very OWN apartment!!!!!!, Baby Lane will turn one (okay, this one is far away), and hopefully there will be lots of vacations in between! I plan on living it up!  After all, this will be my last birthday as a teenager! That is really weird to think! I hope a lot of exciting things come my way, and I'm prepared for anything!! One things for sure, God has a plan for me and I can't wait to fulfill everything he has ready for me!! :)

What (and Who!) makes me, me!!

I want to use this blog to let people have a look into my life. So, I decided that to do this I should make a posts completely about the people and things that make me who I am today. (These are NOT in any specific order!)

The People in my life who mean everything to me!
My Daddy: Everything I know about being tough, about knowing how to stand up for myself, and having a sense of humor, I learned from my Daddy. He taught me don't start a fight, but you better finish one, don't quit anything because quitting gets easier the next time, laugh when people fall down (okay, so this isn't a life lesson, but this is the best example for how my dad taught me to have a sense of humor.), don't cry on the court or on the field, and never do anything without giving it your all. He "coached" me through life and I will always cherish him for that!!

My Momma: Growing up I changed what I wanted my job to be about as many times as every other child does. But, there was one thing I knew I always wanted to do, and that was be a stay at home mom like mine was. My mom has done more for me than I could ever imagine. She pushed me to make good grades throughout school, encouraged me to go to college and get a degree, and she gave me countless amounts of love. I will always remember all of the crafts we used to do together, all of the sacrifices she made for me, and the way she was and always will be there for me whenever I need her to be.
Mojo: Constant fighting, and I'm not talking like arguing, I'm talking knock down drag out fights. Punching, spitting, and just about everything else you could possibly think of. THAT is what my brother and I did when we spent time together growing up. But, rewind a few years, and he was my little child. I taught him, kissed him on his cheek in like EVERY single picture we took, got on to him, and read to him. Then came the fighting and while I loved my brother, he got on all of my ever loving nerves. Okay, fast forward to current time and my brother is by far one of the most important people in my life. And, while he can drive me absolutely crazy with his freaking loud speakers, I wouldn't trade him for anything.
Codey Lyle Foster: The absolute LOVE of my life. We have been in a relationship for almost 5 years (March 15 is our anniversary). My first real boyfriend, my high school sweet heart, my everything! We have survived so many fights, so many arguments and they have only made us stronger. I could not picture my life without him in it, and I hope I NEVER have to! He is my other half, I can talk to him about anything. I am perfectly content just hanging out in sweats watching a movie with him. I love his family like they are my own, and I can only hope they feel the same way about me.
Tiffy: Best friends are hard to come by, and I'm not talking about the "BFF" friendships, the fight and make up, best friends for five minutes kind of best friend. I am talking about the one person that you can turn to no matter what happens. The person that you would do anything in the world for. You will listen to their problems, and they will listen to yours. It took me 16 years to find a friend like Tiffany, but I am so glad she finally came into my life.
Emily and Jacob: (Sorry Emmaboo, I couldn't find ANY pictures of us together. This has GOT to change.) Emily and I got really close Junior year. We made plans for her to live with us at UA in our dorm room. But, all of that changed in July when Emily found out she was pregnant. Nine months later, Jacob was born and my friendship with Emily only got stronger. I am there for her whenever she needs me and she knows that. I would do absolutely anything for Jacob, after all he is my God son! :)) The only thing I would ever change about them is where they live. It is so hard being so far apart!

Ragen, Corey, and Baby Lane: About the same time I started dating Codey, Ragen and Corey started dating as well. We didn't hang out a lot in the beginning, but now I consider them some of my best friends. I love hanging out with them. On October 13, we were blessed with the most amazing miracle, Aiden Lane. Codey and I were so excited to meet our nephew (yes, I know he is not officially yet, but I still consider him my nephew!). We spoiled him rotten with so many gifts before he was born, and have continued to do it in the two months that he has been alive! Lane grows so much every day and I am so glad Ragen and Corey are letting me be a part of his life.
Okay, now that I've told you about the people that keep me going, I'll talk about all the things in life I couldn't live without!!

Contacts: Okay, for those people with perfect 20/20 vision, I HATE YOU. Haha, no I'm kidding. But, I have terrible vision, like absolutely terrible vision. My eye doctor told me that if I lived back in the 60's before they had strong prescriptions, I would have been sent to a school for the blind.

Desperate Housewives: My all time favorite show. If I miss an episode, I get very, VERY mad until I can catch it online or see a rerun.

iPhone: My phone is my lifeline. Literally. I use it for everything, talking, texting, listening to music, surfing the internet, stalking my facebook friends and on and on and on. I am addicted to it!

My laptop: I could not get through college without my laptop. I have no idea how college worked without them, I don't to even imagine it!! Plus, I love just playing around on it, and now it is very handy for blogging! :)
My car: As much as I HATE my car, it is something that I could not live without. It takes me everywhere I need to go. And while it may be ugly, it has four wheels and moves, so I've learned to just be happy with it!

Sunflowers: I just love to look at them, they make me so happy! Imagine how sad life would be without gorgeous flowers!

Sam's Choice Water: I don't drink anything but water. Like no sodas, no juice. None of that, and I like Sam's choice the best, because well, It has my name on it and tastes yummy!

My Faith: There is nothing greater in my life than my faith. And, there is nothing more that needs to be said about that. :)

New to this! :)

Okay, I know what you’re thinking. “She just started a blog because everyone else was.” Well, that’s only partially true! There are several reasons why I wanted to create my own blog. So, I figured my first post should be explaining to everyone (yeah, all 5 of my readers!) why I wanted to make this.
  1. I LOVE being nosy, and assume that most of my friends do as well. So, why not save them some trouble and give them an easy access look into my daily life.
  2. I learned some really cool blogging tricks in my Computers and Technology for Teaching class, and I wanted to give them a try.
  3. I am on Christmas break and am very bored. I figure why not? There’s no better way that I could spend my time. (okay, I could probably find something a little better.)
  4. I was obsessed with my LiveJournal when those were popular, and Blogging is pretty close!
  5. I like to be creative and found some really cute layouts and templates when I made my blog for class, but I didn’t want to spend the time on something that I wouldn’t really use.
  6.  My New Years resolution is to take at least one picture of something every single day. I get so mad at myself when I think “Man, I wish I would have taken more pictures.” I figure this blog will be some motivation to post the picture/pictures that I take. I plan on posting at least twice a week and will update my pictures then! (We will see how long this goes on for.)
  7. I always wanted to have a diary or journal but for some reason I could never stick to it. I would write in it for a few days, and then totally loose motivation. This won’t be as open as a diary, but it will be funny for me to be able to look back and laugh at the things I posted.
So, there you have it. I will be posting about college life, my relationship with Codey, my friendships, my family, among rants and raves and anything else I want to “vent” or talk about. I hope that you have a wonderful day, thanks for reading!!

Codey and I on the beach over Christmas break :)
