Here Lately :)

So it has been a long time since my last post, and I figured I would just let everyone know what is going on in my crazy life!

Codey and I recently celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I cannot believe that we have been together for that long. I thought about what I wanted to do for a while (having an extremely uncreative boyfriend can be challanging when it comes to date ideas!) and I came up with something I really wanted to do. I have always wanted to get a really good view of Birmingham at night time, and remembered that you could visit Vulcan Park. When I got on their website and saw that you can visit after 6 for a discounted price, I thought it would be a great idea. I remembered a great pizza place we ate at one time, Salvatores, so we picked some up on the way! After we ate our picnic dinner at the park, we walked the stairs up to the top of the statue and watched the sunset over the city. The view was amazing! After leaving the park, we stopped by Yogurt Mountain, one of our favorite places now! All in all, it was a great night!!

I am almost finished with my Freshman year of college. I can't believe that I have finished so much! I couldn't be happier about my decision to come to the University of Alabama. I know it was the best decision I could have made! Codey will be coming here in the Fall and I can't wait for us to be going to school together. I am so proud of him deciding to come here. Soon, I know that he will be saying "Roll Tide" with me! I am so ready to be out of this dorm though. It was fun for the first few months, but it is getting a little old now. I have signed a lease for an apartment for next year and I cant wait to be living there!
